I would love to see Studio Ghibli make an adaptation of Sabriel!

But isn't the studio short of a master type of director in charge at the moment? if Hayao Miyazaki keeps being in his near retirement and there isn't someone else capable enough I'd rather they don't make an adaptation.

By the way I read the trilogy when I was in high school. The set up is quite cool.

Dust and Shadow: An Account of the Ripper Killings by Dr. John H. Watson
By Lindsay Faye. Sherlock Holmes is trying to catch Jack The Ripper. (Haven't started yet, but I'm 80% sure Moriarty has something to do with it.)

Currently reading Infinite Jest and while it's quite an undertaking, I've been liking it a lot. It's really good at providing a bunch of different angles, explanations, and scenarios but giving each of them something interesting to latch onto.

"City of Saints and Madmen" by Jeff VanderMeer. I've only finished the first two stories and I'm pretty much in love with it.

Just finishing up In The Midst Of Death, third book in the Matthew Scudder series by Lawrence Block. Series is really good so far, but I didn't really care much for the second book.

Doctor Sleep, the sequel to The Shining. I'm loving it so far.
